Aug. Regional Race Seattle . Current driver John Leach was replaced as driver of the  Kenny Gilmour Motorsports Dragster . Ken Webster of Red Deer Alberta took over driving chores . Many changes had to be made to the dragster so Ken was comfortable . After the Seattle race more seat time was needed ;so we tested at Rimby Raceways , where Ken set the track record on the very first pass .


 Kenny Gilmour Motorsports heads into 2017 with new driver and new marketing partner Pro Ring Suppy . Pro will be suppling rings and bearings for the two Brad Anderson engines. Brad Hadman completed the chassis updates for 2017 season.

Team Gilmour At Mission Raceway this weekend

It will be a fantastic weekend for NHRA Drag racing at Mission Raceway.The sky is clear with three days of the same to follow. Our venture to Las Vegas had problem with some clearances that are now overcome. So our optimism is high, Yesterday we finished assembly,and started the car with positive results. The first round of qualifying is between 3:00 and 4:00. .we will report back after the first session.

New Driver for Kenny Gilmour Motorsports

After two test races driving the "X Car" for Jerry Maddern's World Championship Team, Ray Martin will join The Kenny Gilmour Top Alcohol team. Ray has a lengthy history in Top Alcohol Dragter,recently at the wheel of Hugh Ridley's car for 2 years. Ray's successful 2013 year closed with a number 4 points positon.
   Our first race of the year is a Las Vegas double header with the "Summit Racing Nationals" (April 10-12) followed by the Regional race (April 17-19). As usual we will be blog all day internet permitting.

Greg Hunter breaks through new barrier

Another weekend with no internet!  With temperatures high Team Gilmour put together a combination sending Greg into new territory 5.373 @ 268.17 mph.
Unfortunately during the third qualifying session the Lenco transmission failed sending the motor to 12,700 rpm destroying almost eveything. The good news is we should be ready for the regional race this coming weekend in Las Vegas, then on to Pomona. Stay tuned

TAD's Greg Hunter Adding to ExactAir Team's Vegas History

LAS VEGAS (October 23) – A two-month break from racing is over for Greg Hunter and his ExactAir Compliance Systems Top Alcohol Dragster team. The Kenny Gilmour-owned team will return to the site of Greg’s TAD debut and first round win, The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, for the Toyota NHRA Nationals, Oct. 25-27. The race is the first of three in a row for the Canadian group.

Vegas Vegas Pomona

When you say Vegas Vegas Pomona this time of year, it realy means tough tougher and toughest. The last three races on the NHRA tour is a blood bath. Racers from all regions will be there, They are the best of the best in all aspects,blown alcohol and nitro. They are all fighting for points to close out the season. Of course the Exactair team will be there in full fighting force to battle it out. The Toyota Nationals Qualifying begins Friday at 11:00 am.

Hunter Optimistic About Brainerd Debut

BRAINERD, Minn. (August 15, 2013) – Despite a first round loss at his most recent event in Seattle, Top Alcohol Dragster driver Greg Hunter is optimistic as he heads to the NHRA Lucas Oil Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway, August 16-18. His results at the Northwest Nationals might not show it, but Greg’s ExactAir Compliance Systems dragster is showing promise.

Saturdays results Seattle Northwest Nationals

With Friday's qualifying rained out, the NHRA officials decided to have 2 qualifying sessions and first round on Saturday. To say this was a tough field would be a understatement as 4 cars ran in the mid 5.20 zone. Fortunately the Exactair team positioned in the top half of the field in the number 6 spot with a 5.385@265.14 mph. Facing Garrett Bateman in the first round Garret unloaded a 5.35 to Greg's 5.43 sending the team home early. Garret managed to conclude his day in the final squaring off with event winner Shawn Cowie.
